Koorawatha Falls

The minor falls

We're crossing the weir !

The major falls

The 4 star amenities

And you asked for it folks ... picture of my gorgeous doggie, my baby Magic who I have had for 9 years. Taken today in our yard(the pic before was of the younger one, Raven)

Today we drove the 20 minutes to a town called Koorawatha population 300. Its main draw factor is the waterfalls. This part of Australia has been in drought for the last 6 years or so and recently we had a really great rainy season and had the most rain in years and years. We were told the falls were running again so we went to check them out today. We got to take the 4WD off road which was quite fun.

Looks great for RnR LOL!

NExt time we visit, we would love to see the falls if they are still in action!

lol kirk, nothing wrong with spam ! Well the edible kind anyway. I have to secretly confess that I like it ! Its great in fried rice :)

Milly, thanks! Glad we have quite a few foodie animal lovers out there ! Do you have any pets?

DH and I love pets especially dogs. We don't have a dog here mainly because our apartment is too small the have a dog, and too much of a mess. ;P

DH used to have a pet cocker but she died at the ripe old age of 14. The only other pet I have is Betta fish called Jumpin' Jimminy. He was named that because when we were taking him home all he seemed to do is try to jump out of his cup. Although now we just call him Fishy, or Monster, or Pig. He will try to shashay into your heart and make you feed him more than once! Bad Fishy! ;P People think we're strange to apply a personality to a fish, but he does have one, and usually people who get to "know" him usally agree.

Hey milly,

Aww I love bettas we used to have 2. A red one (the red baron) and a blue one (cobalt) Sadly they were given the official burial down the toilet one in Feb this year and the other in July. I agree that they did have very different personalities. However, they weren't as charismatic as your jimmy!
